Co-op Holidays, part of the Midcounties Co-operative, has made a series of new appointments and new roles as part of ongoing growth plans.
The tour operating arm of Co-op Travel is focused on working with partners to grow its B2C offering over the next five years.
Steve Chadwick (pictured) has been appointed to the newly-created role of revenue and pricing manager.
Chadwick joins from Awaze where he was responsible for developing the portfolio of holiday parks and houses across cottages.com and Hoseasons.
He has more than 15 years’ experience working with luxury tour operators Eden Travel and Seasons in Style where he held commercial and finance roles.
Annette Meijer and Alex Mozo have been recruited as product managers.
Meijer joins after working for Attraction World where she managed global product, while Mozo brings more than 20 years’ experience within major UK operators and agency specialists including Tui, Jetline Cruise and G Touring where she was responsible for the creation, purchasing and delivery of escorted tours.
The trio will report into Mark Mitchell as head of Co-op Holidays and third-party commercial.
Co-op Travel business is also recruiting for around 30 roles across product development, its 72 branches and for virtual travel agents.
The travel business has seen “significant growth” this year, with performance across the travel business ahead of 2019 by 5% and Co-op Holidays up 30% year-on-year.
