Tui UK & Ireland has announced that its commercial and business development director, Richard Sofer, has left after more than seven years with the travel company.
A statement from Tui said he has “made the decision to step down from his role”.
The company added: “We’d like to thank Richard for his unwavering commitment, his leadership, and his achievements during his time at Tui.”
During his time with Tui, Sofer oversaw the introduction of four new ocean cruise ships for Marella Cruises, led the introduction of numerous new initiatives, including Tui River Cruise and tours and accommodation-only.
“Always customer focussed, he was a crucial leader in headlining our recovery from Covid,” added the statement.
“We’d like to wish Richard all the best for his personal and professional future.”
