Hertfordshire agency Your Perfect Travel celebrated its 10th anniversary on Saturday (September 23) with an open day for clients.
The event was held at its shop on Knight Street in Sawbridgeworth, with customers and residents invited for refreshments and the chance to meet staff, as well as some suppliers.
Norma Fenwick, managing director at Your Perfect Travel, established the agency in 2013 as a homeworking enterprise, after an “epiphany” following her travels around southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji.
“I just knew my future lay in travel,” she said, adding: “I joined Hays Travel Independence Group in April 2020 at the start of the pandemic as I liked their ethos.
“Partnering with Hays Travel means we remain independent with our own Abta protection but can use the buying power of the UK’s largest independent travel organisation receive amazing support and gaining access to numerous systems that allow me to run a successful travel agency.
“Last week we had an open day where we invited our customers and local residents to join us for a glass of prosecco and some nibbles. We had some amazing suppliers who gave up their time to support us.”
