Africa trade show moves to City of London venue in 2024

A new central London venue will host the African Travel & Tourism Association (Atta) Experience Africa trade show next summer.

The B2B event is moving to 155 Bishopsgate in the City of London and will be held on July 1-3.

Two new elements will be introduced to the show in 2024 including destination and product training opportunities for frontline sales teams and early-bird registration for ATTA tour operator members seeking to plan their show.

Travel Weekly will be the trade media partner for Experience Africa 2024, extending the power of the event into an extensive print and digital trade audience.

The show will feature pre-scheduled meetings, networking breaks and evening activities in a new setting.

Association chief executive Jon Banks said: “We’re thrilled to see so many ATTA members and new faces joining us in London for this incredible show.

“Listening to our members, we chose 155 Bishopsgate as we wanted to anchor the show to one of London’s most stylish venues, renowned for its state-of-the-art tech and creativity.”

Experience Africa chief executive Chris Mears said: “We’re excited about what we’ll be able to deliver at this new venue in the heart of the city.

“With fantastic transport links, and a number of hotel accommodation options nearby, we are sure it will a fantastic spot and the place to connect for the African tourism industry.”
