Five trips to Vietnam are being given away by Intrepid Travel to top agent fundraisers participating in its annual charity walk.
The Blue Dragon Marathon Walk takes place in London on September 10.
The walk raises funds for a charity in Vietnam, the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation, which provides rescue care, shelter, legal advocacy and long-term support to victims of human trafficking.
Vietnam is a key market for the operator, carrying almost 4,000 travellers last year.
The top two individual and top three team fundraisers will win a spot on a 10-day trip from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City.
Intrepid has set a £128,000 global fundraising target for the sixth walk.
The company is inviting trade partners to gather teams and sign up for a mini (10km), half (21km) or full (42km) marathon.
Intrepid chair Darrell Wade said: “Raising just £130 can keep a child at risk in school for one year. £180 can reunite a trafficked victim with their family and provide them with emergency support to start over.
“By fundraising or sponsoring the Blue Dragon Marathon Walk, you can easily yet dramatically change the lives of children and families in need.”
Intrepid Foundation general manager Biheng Zhang added: “A hugely popular international destination for Intrepid and the industry at large, Vietnamese communities have always welcomed us with open hearts and generous hospitality.
“Participating in or sponsoring the marathon walk is our chance as an industry and as travellers to give back.”
