Airing of Antarctica TV documentary boosts Scenic sales

Scenic has seen ocean voyage bookings rise by more than 20% due to an Antarctica TV documentary featuring Scenic Eclipse.

Sales figures grew by 22% and call volumes rose by 10% in the week following the release of the first episode of Maritime Masters: Expedition Antarctica on Discovery+ on June 4.

The momentum is expected to continue with three more episodes due to air.

Scenic Group trade sales director Andrea Stafford said: “We are thrilled to see the incredible knock-on effect from the first episodes of Maritime Masters converting into sales for our trade partners.

“We are continuing to enhance our trade activity in conjunction with the show with toolkits, a recorded webinar and competitions all available for agents. 

“We will continue to support agents so that they are best equipped to understand Scenic Eclipse’s ultra-luxury offering and sell our product, and we look forward to a new episode with the Masters this Sunday.”
