Aito is to hold its fourth ‘Agents’ Famference’ in Gibraltar.
The Specialist Travel Association has announced details of the trip, which will be hosted by Visit Gibraltar from June 5 to June 8, 2025.
It will bring together trade-friendly specialist tour operators with travel agents for a fam trip to showcase the destination while also providing time for networking and the exchange of ideas.
The trip, which will include activities and experiences, has already sold out and follows a trip to the Algarve last year.
It will include the chance to explore lesser-known parts of Gibraltar, with a programme of excursions ranging from dolphin watching to visiting historical sites, as well as hosted dinners and group activities.
Aito Specialist Travel Agents’ chair Gemma Antrobus said: “Building on the immense success of our previous events in Malta, Tenerife and the Algarve, we are thrilled to announce our fourth Aito Specialist Travel Agents’ Famference; unbelievably, it has sold out in less than 24 hours! What an amazing response.

With the countdown now underway for our visit to Gibraltar, plans for exploring and networking are in full swing. There are 16 travel agents and 14 tour operators booked to attend the trip this year.
Gibraltar’s minister for tourism, the Hon Christian Santos, GMD, MP, said he was “thrilled” Aito had chosen Gibraltar for this year’s Famference.
He said: “This is a great opportunity for frontline travel agents and tour operators to experience Gibraltar’s extensive tourist options in person. We have arranged a selection of activities and experiences, which I am confident will impress our visitors. I would like to thank Aito or collaborating with Visit Gibraltar in organising this Famference.”
