American Affair strengthens commercial team with new hire and promotion

Former Newmarket Holidays product manger Mandy McGlade has taken an identical role at American Affair.

She has also held roles at Titan Travel and Kuoni, as well as being a senior account manager at KBC PR and Marketing.

Meanwhile, Stuart Rogers is promoted to more senior role dedicated to American Affair as head of product and commercial after 20 years working with the operator and sister brand Canadian Affair.

He will lead the expansion of the company’s destination portfolio and an increased choice of itineraries and suppliers. 

Rogers will also oversee American Affair’s partnership with Brand USA and its future fam trips.

Managing director Chris Hedley saId: “American Affair has grown substantially since we launched and it’s important that we continue to invest in our operation if we are to deliver high quality USA travel packages to our travel agent partners and their customers.

“We are delighted to welcome Mandy, and to recognise Stuart’s longstanding contribution to our business with his new role. I am confident that, together, they will drive effective growth for American Affair in the years ahead.”

Rogers added: “I am thrilled to be taking on this new role within the American Affair team, in which we will continue to deliver exceptional products and services for our agents and their customers. 

“I am particularly excited to welcome Mandy to our team. Her extensive knowledge of the USA brings a valuable perspective to our endeavours, and I look forward to working with her and American Affair delivering on the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.”

McGlade said: “American Affair has been expanding rapidly making it an exciting time to join the team. With ambitious plans for the future of the company, I look forward to adding to the innovative ideas and plans that are in store.”
