Caribbean specialist operator fails, CAA announces

A specialist operator to the Caribbean has failed.

Fun Travel traded under the names Bonaire Fun Travel and Caribbean Fun Travel and websites www.bonairefuntravel.co.uk and www.caribbeanfuntravel.co.uk.

The Civil Aviation Authority said the company based in Northants had ceased trading as an Atol holder.

Fun Travel was licensed under a franchise arrangement with Protected Trust Services (PTS).

The CAA advised that consumers with forward bookings should contact Protected Trust Services by email emma.collis@protectedtrustservices.com.

The company’s website says that the family run business was set up after the owners visited Bonaire and Curacao with a friend who had a successful travel company specialising in the Dutch Caribbean.
