Citalia takes destination guide approach to new brochure

Citalia claims to have made a new take on the more traditional-style brochure with a destination guide to Italy to coincide with peaks.

The publication is designed to capture interest and inspiration for travel to Italy by offering expert advice, insight and guidance.

The operator aims to equip agents with all the information they need to inform and support clients, including personal suggestions from specialists who have travelled extensively throughout Italy.

The guide is divided into five broader themes for destination experiences within Italy – coasts, islands, lakes, countryside and cities – with each section highlighting the best places to stay, dine, learn and explore.

Three new escorted tours have been added following a 25% increase in demand last year.

More than 20 new hotels have been introduced to the programme, including Villa Rosa Hotel in Lake Garda, Palazzo Giovanelli in Venice and Hotel Plaza Opera in Sicily.

Marketing director Erin Johnson said: “We are continually seeing interest in our multi-destination holidays grow, and we expect this pattern to continue well into 2024.

“Holidays which offer the variety of experiences which can only be gained from exploring multiple destinations within a country are a popular choice for those wanting to get the most out of their holiday to Italy.

“Our expert team are able to tailor the experience perfectly to support agents and enable them to deliver the holiday their customers want, using first-hand knowledge to ensure we are giving nothing less than the very best recommendations.”
