‘Ancient Land: New Perspectives’ has been unveiled as the theme for 24th World Travel & Tourism Council global summit to take place in Perth, Australia.
Australian conservationist and TV personality Robert Irwin has been named as the first major speaker at the event, to be held on October 8-10.
Son of ‘Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, who died in 2006, he is known for his advocacy for the natural world and his efforts in conservation.
WTTC president and chief executive Julia Simpson said: “We are delighted to have Robert Irwin joining us and addressing attendees at our upcoming global summit. His work in conservation and his ability to use his platform to drive positive change resonate with our mission.
