CV Villas has reported a 40% increase in revenue generated through trade sales last month compared to April 2019.
The villa holidays specialist put the rise down to its “strengthened relationship with new and existing trade partners”.
CV Villas appointed business development manager Chris Etheridge in January.
Greece, which remains on the government’s amber list for now, is the luxury villa company’s top-selling destination. CV reported a 63% increase in Greece bookings in March 2021 against March 2019, and a 25% increase in April 2021 against 2019 levels.
Etheridge said “the majority of bookings for 2021 departures, showing that the demand remains strong for travel this summer.”
Due to the increased demand, it has added a new villa to its portfolio; six-bedroom Villa Doria in Corfu. Agents can book it from £1,916 per week.
Etheridge added: “As the UK’s leading flight-inclusive villa specialist operator, we so greatly value our trade partners and aim to support them as much as possible through our increased engagement and support throughout the pandemic.
“Since joining CV Villas in January, I have strived to help the company achieve their growth goals throughout this difficult time for the travel industry by successfully achieving new partnerships with both travel agencies and tour operators since joining.”
