A start-up football trips firm created by Manchester United legend Eric Cantona has expanded its range as it looks to partner with travel agents.
Napoli, Dortmund, Istanbul and Marseille are among ten new cities added after a first season of operation by Looking FC.
The brand, set up earlier in the year, is focusing on two distinct categories of football travel – trips for those who travel for the love of their club, and for those who travel for the love of the game.
Returning from last season are trips focused on Manchester United, Liverpool FC, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Barcelona FC and Sporting Lisbon.
New club-focused trips for this season are Juventus, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Also new this season are city trips designed for fans who want to experience football destinations, including Dortmund, Naples, Athens, Glasgow, Istanbul, Marseille, Buenos Aires and Casablanca.
Developed by Cantona in partnership with travel start-up Dharma the company’s itineraries are designed for small groups, but are also available for private bookings of friends and families.
A spokesperson said: “We are actively partnering with travel agents globally. Agents can get in direct touch with our head of sales, Emily Carrello.”
Cantona said: “The trips are about going inside the passion of football, understanding the story of a club, how football is used, then how you live your life. It’s about offering experiences that only passion can buy.”
Dharma chief marketing officer Dan Christian added: “The reviews from our first season guests were so overwhelmingly positive, it was clear there is a passionate fandom of football fans looking for experiences like the trips we offer.
“What we had to do next was create more opportunities for this season by introducing more clubs, cites and games.”
Looking FC is offering a $150 early booking discount on both new and existing trips until November 14.
Each four-day trip is crafted by Cantona, culminating with a game day experience in stadiums league and Champions League matches.
Trips feature fan chant workshops, street art walks with historians and tactics briefings with leading journalists.
