Eurostar releases Paris Olympics fares early

Eurostar has made an early release of tickets for travel to Paris for the 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games.

Bookings are available for travel between July 25 and September 9.

One-way fares start at £49 when booked as a return journey.

Eurostar will be adding an additional service between London and Paris on Fridays and Sundays each week handle demand during the Olympics and summer season.

The schedule totals 110 return trains, allowing Eurostar to carry more than 88,000 passengers a week to Paris and back.

The high speed Channel Tunnel passenger rail service is the official travel partner for Team GB and ParalympicsGB, providing nearly 600 athletes with travel to the French capital to compete in the tournament.

Tickets have gone on sale for the Olympics, which runs between July 26 and August 11, and Paralymics between August 28 and September 8.

Chief commercial officer Francois Le Doze said: “We are preparing for more than one million passengers to travel with us to the French capital during these exciting and unforgettable events.

“We have released Eurostar tickets early to provide our customers with the best chance to plan their trip in the greenest way possible to support their Olympic and Paralympic teams, as well as their favourite athletes.

“We are very proud to be the official travel partner of Team GB and ParalympicsGB for the Paris 2024 Games.”
