A new 28-day Arctic Circle itinerary leads Holland America Line’s 2024 Alaska season sailings.
The cruise by Westerdam from Seattle departs on June 9 next year in time for the summer solstice and includes 12 Alaskan ports.
Two 14-day voyages from Vancouver cover eight ports in Alaska, with departures by Nieuw Amsterdam on May 5 and Noordam on September 15.
The programme also includes 117 week-long cruises with Koningsdam, Zaandam and Eurodam also being deployed in the region between April and September 2024.
Each Alaska cruise includes a visit to one or more of Alaska’s glacier destinations: Glacier Bay National Park, College Fjord, Dawes Glacier, Hubbard Glacier and Twin Sawyer Glaciers of Tracy Arm.
An early booking incentive covers upgrades to drinks packages, premium wi-fi and crew tips.
The line’s 2024 cruises are now open for booking, while packages which combine an Alaska cruise with an overland expedition to Denali and the Yukon, are due to be available in February.
Chief commercial officer Beth Bodensteiner said: “Holland America Line is proud of our rich history of bringing the best service at sea to Alaska, and we’re excited to reveal details of our 2024 season including a new month-long Arctic Circle itinerary that is the most immersive we’ve ever offered in this region.
“With six ships serving Alaska and the only cruise line with owned land operations in Denali and the Yukon, no one does Alaska better.”
