Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America and Antarctica sailings on three Holland America Line ships are being cancelled from January until a revised return to service.
The changes come as HAL plans to have its full fleet of 11 ships back in operation by before next summer.
Passengers on a transatlantic crossing by Westerdam departing April 18 will be moved to a comparable crossing on Nieuw Statendam leaving a day earlier.
Those on Noordam’s affected Asia departures in 2022 will be moved to the same itinerary in 2023 on Westerdam.
Passengers on Oosterdam’s cancelled Australia and New Zealand voyages will be moved to the same itinerary in 2023 on Noordam.
Others on Westerdam’s cancelled South America and Antarctica voyages will be moved to the same itinerary on board Oosterdam in 2023.
Alternatively, they can receive a 100% refund.
Noordam will restart with a March 14 cruise in Japan; Oosterdam returns on May 1 in the Mediterranean and Westerdam on May 8 in Alaska.
The trio of ships will join Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Nieuw Statendam, Rotterdam and Zuiderdam, which have returned to service or are due to restart cruising by December 2021. Volendam and Zaandam will return in May 2022.
HAL president Gus Antorcha said: “We’ve been working intensely to get all of our ships back into service, and to have final restart dates that will complete the fleet is rewarding for everyone who has put their all into making this happen.
“Our progressive rollout plan allows us to be back in full service over the next several months, and we look forward to welcoming guests on all 11 ships cruising in different regions around the world.”
Meanwhile, sister Carnival Corporation brand is cancelling the 2021-22 Antarctica and South America season on Seabourn Quest
Seabourn has updated the restart for the ship in time for the summer season in the Mediterranean on May 10.
The ship will resume service in Europe sailing from Venice. Seabourn Quest will visit the Adriatic and Ionian seas until mid-July before visiting destinations across Spain, Portugal, France and the UK.
The line is currently operating two of the five ships in its fleet, Seabourn Odyssey and Seabourn Ovation.
