Kuoni’s senior management has surpassed a £7,500 charity fund raising target ahead of an attempt to climb Snowdon on Saturday.
The team set a target of £7,500 for the Mind mental health charity and has achieved almost £8,000 to date via a JustGiving page.
Kuoni UK chief executive Derek Jones set the challenge which has now gained funding support from more than 230 people.
He said: “As we all know the past 18 months have been incredibly hard.
“Our friends, family and colleagues have faced huge pressures and for many it’s taken a terrible toll on their health.
“Mental illness is invisible; people may seem fine on the outside but be in turmoil on the inside.
“We are learning more all the time about how to spot the signs, how to cope, who to talk to and how to live life well – and we want to help Mind with its ongoing research, advice and support.”
