Leading travel firms agree joint marketing with Abu Dhabi

Leading UK travel brands have signed up to build awareness and drive tourism growth in Abu Dhabi.

Ten joint marketing scheme have been agreed by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi).

Companies involved include On the Beach, Trailfinders, Kenwood Travel, Destination 2 and Voyage Prive.

Existing agreements have also been extended with dnata, Expedia, lastminute and Amadeus, following successful collaborations this year.

The agreements aim to build on Abu Dhabi’s appeal to European travellers, harnessing the region’s potential to generate increased growth in visitor numbers to the emirate and support ambitions to attract more than 24 million annual visitors.

Tourism director general Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry said: “These agreements support and strengthen our relationships with valued partners to welcome more travellers to Abu Dhabi for them to discover our range of experiences that inspire, excite and restore. 

“The UK is a priority market for Abu Dhabi and we are committed to exploring new opportunities for collaboration with our valued UK and European travel partners.”
