The organisers of a travel trade event focused on destinations in southeast Europe have announced the next edition will take place in London again, on February 23, 2023.
New Deal Europe (NDE) will hold the New Deal Europe Marketplace and Forum to connect tourism buyers from around the world with suppliers from the region.
This year, the event was held at a venue in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, east London.
The 2023 edition will be the fifth NDE event in four years and registration for buyers and suppliers opens on September 15. The event is free for buyers and limited special early-bird offers are available for suppliers.
Co-founder and director Tine Murn (pictured left) said: “We are delighted to take our Marketplace and Forum to its fourth year in a row, given that we are living through some of the most stressful times.”
Robert Dee (right), fellow co-founder, said the event helps tour operators’ product managers to make “informed decisions” about the region.
“Every year we see more tour operators embrace the potential of the New Deal Europe region and feature more tours in their programmes,” said Dee.
“Our event is now a fixture in the tourism calendar as it showcases the hidden gem which is the Balkans and southeast Europe.”
More details about the event will be released in coming weeks.
NDE represents tourism in 12 countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.
