Two new luxury resorts in Sicily are being opened for the summer by Palladium Hotel Group in one of its most ambitious projects.
The Spanish company plans to have Grand Palladium Sicilia Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Garden Beach Resort & Spa operating by May 28.
The move sees Palladium take another step in its expansion in the Mediterranean region.
The two properties have 10 hectares of exclusive facilities and a total of 469 rooms and suites in the town of Campofelice di Roccella, close to Palermo and the airport.
Chief sales and marketing officer Sergio Zertuche said: “Despite a difficult year for the sector, we’re continuing to work to ensure that our guests have new destinations to enjoy their holidays.
“Together with the Balearic Islands, Sicily is one of those corners of the Mediterranean where we all want to escape, and we have adapted the services so that our guests enjoy a safe and sustainable stay, in the current context and beyond.”
