Panache Cruises creates LGBTQ+ advocacy group

Panache Cruises has launched an LGBTQ+ advocacy group within the specialist agency to mark Pride month and ensure that diversity and inclusion are at the heart of its business.

The group will comprise five self-nominated members of staff and be led by James Cole, Panache Cruise’s founder and managing director.

They will champion equality and diversity across the business, provide training about how to cater to LGBTQ+ clients, and develop ways of marketing to the LGBTQ+ community.

A resource guide has been developed to help staff across the business better understand the LGBTQ+ community.

The group will study the company’s processes such as job applications and employee benefits to ensure that Panache Cruises is supporting all of its LGBTQ+ community.

Cole said: “Over the last three years since we have been trading, how we develop our internal culture has been of paramount importance to me.

“We know that our success, both now and in the future, will come as a result of us operating as a people-centred business, and we are committed to ensuring that all our colleagues feel free and able to bring their whole selves to work, however they express themselves or identify.”

For the month of June, Panache Cruises has redesigned its logo to reflect the Pride colours and is also hosting a Pride celebration day.
