Portuguese hotel group 3HB Hotels is aiming to expand its footprint outside the Algarve as it reports a strong post-pandemic rebound.
The group currently operates six hotels and will host the Jet2holidays VIP Conference at its 3HB Guarana property in Olhos de Água (pictured) from November 14-17.
Construction is currently underway on 3HB’s first non-Algarve hotel, the 3HB Lisboa, while its footprint in Faro is also due to be expanded with the 3HB Ria joining the five-star 3HB Faro.
The company said the expansion plans reflected “a 2021 that exceeded all expectations” and strong occupancy rates for this summer.
3HB descirbes itself as an “honest, creative, and informal brand” with a strong connection to the cultures of the locations of its properties.
Its portfolio has three strands – All-inclusive, Holiday and Concept – with the refurbished family-focused Hotel Guaraná in Albufeira becoming the latest member of the group in April this year.
It said it plans to continue to develop a “varied, yet consistent, portfolio that allows it to meet the different needs of its guests”.
