Bookings have opened for new Royal Caribbean International megaship Icon of the Seas more than a year before it enters service.
The 7,600-passenger vessel will be based in Miami running seven-night Caribbean itineraries from January 2024.
Every cruise will visit Royal Caribbean’s private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay in The Bahamas, and a range of destinations such as Cozumel, Mexico; Philipsburg, St Maarten and Roatan, Honduras.
The ship features 28 types of accommodation, including 14 new categories with an emphasis on families and multi-generational groups.
Every cabin or suite will have an eco-mode that turns on when passengers leave. The feature will turn off as soon as they return on board, ensuring the preferred temperature settings are restored.
While many on board features have been detailed, more will be revealed in the coming months, according to the line.
