Swan Hellenic claims to be featuring 34 off-the-beaten-track destinations, many not reached by other expedition cruise lines, in 2025-26.
Hermanus in South Africa has never been visited by any cruise company to date, according to the line.
Swan Hellenic’s SH Diana will be making its maiden call in November 2025 and returning in 2026.
The announcement came as SH Vega reached Brazil, where it will be exploring Trancoso, Itacare, Morro de Sao Paulo and the uninhabited Abrolhos Archipelago for the first time.
They will be visited again next year with more destinations on the Brazilian coast to follow in 2026.
The line claims that eight more destinations in its 2025-26 itineraries are not visited by any other cruise company.
These stretch from Vaeroy in Lofoten, Norway, the Donana National Park in Spain and Elmina in Ghana to Baie des Tortues, Loango National Park and Mayumba, all in Gabon, and Ilha Baia dos Tigres in Angola.
Highlights of Swan Hellenic’s lesser-visited destinations include Kalso in the Faroe Islands; Kinsale in Ireland; Batz-sur-Mer, France; Pantelleria island, Italy; Datça, Turkey; the Bijagos Archipelago, Guinea Bissau; the Aldabara Atoll, Seychelles; Kilwa Kivinje (Tanzania), Nosy Vao island (Madagascar), Niebla, Chile; Guanaja Island, Honduras; Georgetown, Guyana; and the Cajari and Aquiqui rivers and Gurupa region on the Amazon.
