Tenth Cook’s Club hotel to open in Corfu

The tenth Cook’s Club hotel is to open in Corfu on June 1.

The 195-room property is the first to feature a ‘feel free’ concept giving a modern twist to the all-inclusive concept, doing away with buffet-style service while producing less food waste.

Guests can order a la carte via their smartphone, with each dish individually prepared before being brought to the table.

The adults-only hotel features refurbished rooms, including some with individual swim-up pools.

The brand’s tenth hotel and fifth in Greece is located in the village of Gouvia.

Facilities include a pool bar, two restaurants, spa, gym, tennis court and bicycles available to hire.

It follows the opening of a new-build hotel in Rhodes a few weeks ago.

Alessandro Dassi, vice-president of Fosun Tourism Group, which acquired the Cook’s Club brand in 2019, said: “The opening of Cook’s Club Corfu is a key milestone in our development strategy for the brand.

“With each new opening, we have the opportunity to push the boundaries of how we adapt the Cook’s Club concept to new destinations.

“Cook’s Club Corfu offers the perfect mix of local culture and modern, urban vibes, bringing a new and innovative concept to one of the most iconic Greek islands.”

Property owner Panos Rokas added: “We had an instant connection with the Cook’s Club brand. We wanted to create a destination for chic boho living, where like-minded people can feel at home, connect and embrace the energy and vibes of the island.”
