Tui is to open 21 new travel branches across the country this year as customers seek expert face-to-face advice following the pandemic.
Three of the new stores have already opened in Liverpool Speke, Oxford and Banbury.
The locations of the remaining 18 outlets are yet to be announced but the travel giant has made a commitment to open them before the end of the year.
The new Tui stores will also see local recruitment campaigns for new retail staff as part of support for the high street.
Director of sales channels, Belinda Vazquez, said: “There is no doubt that the high street has changed over the last few years but we are seeing a resurgence of people wanting that face-to-face interaction, especially since the pandemic leaving consumers looking for expert advice and reassurance.
“Our retail team offer expert destination advice, tips on how to get the most value for money and all with a friendly face.
“We love seeing our customers come into the store and leave a smile on their face knowing their dream holiday is booked.”
