Tui Lakes & Mountains adds four resorts for this summer

Tui Lakes & Mountains has added four new resorts for this summer.

The resorts are Ascona and Locarno, both in Switzerland; Lake Orta in Italy; and Nassfeld in Austria.

All are on sale now for departures from May to September, except for Nassfeld, where departures start in June.

Managing director Chris Logan said: “We’re really excited to be expanding our product range within our Lakes and Mountains portfolio to give our customers more choice when it comes to their holiday.

“We know that our customers have a passion for discovering new regions and destinations and these new resorts do exactly that.”

As well as giving clients a wider choice of destinations, he said the holidays would give clients the chance to explore the outdoors and enjoy the scenery at their own pace.

Ascona is Switzerland’s lowest lying town and is set on the shores of Lake Maggiore, on the south side of the Alps.

Tui is offering seven-night holidays at the Romantik Hotel Castell Seeschloss on a bed and breakfast basis from £1,376, based on two adults sharing and flights from London City airport in July and transfers.

Locarno is also situated by Lake Maggiore, which offers water activities such as sailing, windsurfing and kayaking as well as hiking and mountain biking trails in surrounding valleys and forests.

Lake Orta, described by the operator as one of Italy’s best-kept secrets, offers boating trips and visits to San Giulio Island. Outdoor activities include sailing and paddleboarding.

Nassfeld in Austria is based near the Lake Presseggersee, offering swimming, boating and fishing, as well as walking trails.
