Venture Ashore adds 200 tours for 2024

Cruise shore excursion company Venture Ashore is expanding the range of tours on offer this year.

The additional 200 trips follow a claimed 63% rise in demand last year over 2022.

The company, ultimately part of the US Hornblower Group which closed American Queen Voyages in February, said it continued to focus on small group tours and private experiences.

More tours where there is increased demand have been added in  locations such as Italy, France, Greece, Caribbean, Thailand, Canada, Mexican Rivera, South America, Alaska and Vietnam.

Tours including cooking, water-based and thrill-seeking experiences.

The company claims its experiences are up to 40% lower than cruise line prices and include a ‘back-to-ship’ guarantee.

Sales director Kirsty Bachelor said: “To announce 200 new tours for 2024 is a great achievement for the team at Venture Ashore.

“The cruise industry has witnessed an impressive bounce back and following an increase in bookings to our key destinations in 2023, this has allowed us to provide our guests with new exceptional experiences.

“We work closely with our travel agent providers to enhance their customers’ cruise reservations by delivering shore excursions and experiences that will live long after their cruise has finished.”
