Abigail Trangmar has moved from Virgin Atlantic Holidays to become director of global sales, UK, for sister brand Virgin Hotels.
She will oversee sales initiatives and cross-collaborate across Virgin Group to drive revenue growth and expand the presence of the brand in the UK.

Virgin Hotels opened its first UK property in Edinburgh last year and expanded its US portfolio to six with a 460-room hotel in New York City in February. A second UK hotel is due to open in Glasgow this year, followed by others in Miami and Denver in 2025.
The company continues to explore opportunities for expansion into cities such as Boston, Los Angeles, Austin, Philadelphia, Seattle and London.
Vice president of global sales, Maya Latinovic said: “We’re thrilled to see Abigail joining Virgin Hotels as our new director of global sales for the UK.
“Her deep-seated knowledge and proven track record in the hospitality industry make her the ideal candidate for this role.
“We’re confident that Virgin Hotels will continue to rise to unprecedented heights under Abigail’s leadership.”
Trangmar added: ”Joining Virgin Hotels is an incredible opportunity, and I look forward to working alongside a group of talented professionals who are dedicated to creating innovative and unforgettable travel experiences.
