Virgin Voyages is expanding itineraries for 2026 with its first-ever eclipse voyages and a range of other longer sailings.
A new range of ‘marvellous voyages’ will see the adults-only cruise line run trips to coincide with the expected total solar eclipse on August 12, 2026.
The 12- and 15-night itineraries include Dublin, Glasgow and Reykjavik by Valiant Lady, and the Amalfi Coast, Majorca and Cannes by Scarlet Lady, with special on board events and appearances.

Six other new sailings between March and August 2026, range from eight to 16 nights in duration, spanning Iceland to Istanbul, the British Isles to The Baltics.
Twelve new ports feature, including Salerno, Edinburgh, Stockholm, Hamburg, Oslo, Tangier and Greenland.
Chief operating officer Michelle Bentubo said: “We already sail to more than 100 international ports, but our itineraries are ever-evolving based on what our sailors [passengers] and travel partners are asking for.
“We’ve graduated from only offering short Caribbean escapes and weekender voyages to give our sailors longer itinerary options up to 14 nights at more ports around the world.
“Our ‘Marvellous Voyages’, paired with Brilliant Lady’s epic itineraries across all four corners of the US, just shows the growth and strength of this monumental brand and the choice we are committed to offering.”
Bookings go on general sales between August 21 and September 18 after loyalty scheme members gain access to the new cruises from tomorrow (August 14).
