The Visit USA Association (UK) will host two roadshows in October and is encouraging agents to attend and update their travel knowledge.
The annual events are returning in person following a virtual roadshow in 2021, and will take place on October 5 at the Tara Copthorne Kensington in London and October 6 at the Radisson Edwardian in Manchester.
A total of 26 Visit USA Association (UK) members are scheduled to attend, including representatives from US destinations, airlines, transportation companies, theme parks and attractions.

The roadshows will include speed networking, a buffet dinner, quiz and prizes.
In addition, an agent from each event will win a holiday to the US courtesy of Aer Lingus, United Airlines and Cruise America RV Rentals, plus 10 goodie bags for the runners-up.
Tracy Thompson, hair of Visit USA Association (UK) events committee, said: “The USA is the number-one long-haul destinations for UK visitors, so we know demand is high and we want to help and provide up-to-date information and tips to help agents to secure and make the most of every booking opportunity.
“We know a lot of travel agencies and operators have been recruiting new staff so it is important to get back to training in person in order to make contact with and actively support those in our industry selling the USA.”
She added: “We are so pleased that the roadshow is back in person this year and that we will be holding face-to-face events in London and Manchester.”
