Viva Cruises returns to the water this week with a new season of European river sailings.
The company is deploying two vessels in the period until March at a time when most other lines remain in winter hibernation.
Departures start tomorrow (January 19) with a series of four-night cruises
The vessels Viva One and Viva Moments will be the first to depart from their home port of Dusseldorf to other points in Germany as well as to Belgium and the Netherlands.
Viva One will provided wellness-themed sailings including a 30-minute massage while Viva Moments passengers can participate in beer and cheese tastings.
Chief operating officer Andrea Kruse said: “For the second year in a row, the occupancy rates of our voyages for the first three months of 2023 are very good and we are more than satisfied with the current demand.
“We have a number of guests who discovered travelling on the river at the beginning of the year and who want to start 2023 in the best way – with a little time out. We are the only river tour operator to provide this opportunity.”
