Aspire’s Leaders of Luxury to return as in-person event

Aspire’s Leaders of Luxury conference will return as an in-person event on November 16, 2021, at Andaz London Liverpool Street.

Speakers at the full-day event hosted by Travel Weekly’s sister brand for the luxury sector will include the bosses of Abercrombie & Kent, Walpole and the Institute of Customer Service; the editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar; and former England cricket captain Mike Gatting, courtesy of sports brand Spectate.

Launched in 2017, Leaders of Luxury addresses the key influences shaping high-end travel and brings together more than 250 of the most senior people in the industry.

Sessions at this year’s event, in partnership with Air Charter Service, will focus on market trends and post-pandemic recovery, rebuilding loyalty among high-net-worth individuals, marketing to niche luxury sectors and the latest issues surrounding sustainability.

Confirmed speakers include:

– Mike Gatting, former England cricket captain

– Lydia Slater, editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar

– Kerry Golds, managing director of Abercrombie & Kent

– Helen Brocklebank, chief executive of Walpole

– Jo Causon, chief executive of the Institute of Customer Service

– Michala Chatel, managing partner of Ultima Collection

The conference will feature a mix of panel discussions, presentations and keynote speakers and will include coffee breaks and a hosted lunch. More speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Aspire features writer Erica Bush said: “After switching to a virtual conference in 2020, we’re over the moon to be inviting delegates to our landmark Leaders of Luxury conference once again.

“The travel sector has faced its biggest challenge to date and it has undoubtedly impacted the wants and needs of affluent travellers.

“We’re delighted to welcome a brilliant roster of speakers who will no doubt deliver insightful and interesting content for our attendees.”

The Leaders of Luxury audience will once again be handpicked and by invitation only to senior industry bosses and travel agency owners.
