MSC Cruises has promoted Alyshia Jay Bartlett to head of retail following the departure of Andrea Stafford to Scenic.
The line has restructured its sales team with internal promotions to fill new and current posts in the UK office.
As head of retail, Bartlett, who has been with MSC Cruises for more than seven years, most recently in the role of senior national account manager, will also oversee agencies, tour operators and homeworkers. She will also be in charge of MSC’s regional sales managers.

Bartlett has more than 20 years’ experience of working in the cruise industry.
National account manager Colin Rillie will be promoted to senior national account manager after more than five years at the line.
Regional sales manager Carrie Jordan-Dodd is to take up the role of national account manager for south, “assuming responsibility for some of the large cruise specialist accounts”, MSC said.
Meanwhile regional sales manager Karen Spencer will become senior regional sales manager.
UK and Ireland sales director Steve Williams said: “It is always incredibly satisfying to recognise the fantastic talent you have within your own business and to be able to make four promotions from within your existing team.
“The restructure will ensure our partners have the very best support ahead of ramping up for our biggest summer season ever, and as we make commitments to sail year round from Southampton.”
The line is now looking externally to recruit a regional sales manager the south-west of England and Wales.
