Travelbag’s Marlow branch has kicked off a sponsorship deal with its local football team, Maidenhead United FC.
Founded in 1870, Maidenhead United FC is one of the oldest football clubs in England.
The Travelbag high street branch was opened in early 2024, with Paralympic Gold Medal-winning rower Naomi Riches conducting the official ribbon cutting.
Natalie Watson, brand and campaigns marketing manager at Travelbag, commented: “Travelbag is proud to partner with MUFC as we love their passion – not only for the game, but also for the local community.
“With a rich heritage spanning 150 years, we are keen to kick start our partnership, share our stories and passion for travel to the football community.”
The agency is promoted on a new advertising board at the ground, as well as in the match programmes of the men’s and women’s first teams.
Sian Lancaster, commercial partnership manager at the club, added: “We are so excited to be partnering with Travelbag this season, and for the chance to add them to our long line of historic sponsors.
“With our shared love for the local community, we believe that this partnership will allow us to further support both our players and chosen charities throughout 2025.”
