TravelEShop.com makes an Internet debut
A NEW Web site allowing agents and operators to advertise flights and holidays direct to Internet users has been launched.TravelEShop.com charges agents from £180 and operators from £250 a year to promote their product on-line.
The annual fees rise according to factors such as how much coverage companies want and whether they require a link to their own site. Agents and operators have to handle any bookings received.
Travel services manager Robin Stone said 29 UK agencies are represented on the site so far. Meanwhile, the company has signed up UK operators including Bales Worldwide, Kirker Holidays, Argo Holidays and Festival Cruises.
TravelEShop.com is operated by start-up company The Travel Shop on the Internet, which currently employs five staff.
