BAA completes subway upgrade
BAA has completed the £10m refurbishment of Heathrow’scentral terminal area subways. Walls have been pushed back and ceilings made higher to give the walkways more space. The airport estimates 24m annual passengers will use the improved facilities to connect between Terminals One, Two and Three and between the Underground, Heathrow Express and bus station. In the new subways are BAA Heathrow managing director Roger Cato and customer service director Christine Stewart.
