Prestige increases Bermuda educationals
PRESTIGE Holidays is increasing the number of agents it is taking to Bermuda on educationals this year to raise the profile of the country.Deputy managing director John Dixon said three fam trips have been organised between July 16-25 and 45 agents have signed up.
Each fam trip will include hotel visits, sightseeing, diving and golf. There will also be a gala dinner at the Southampton Princess Hotel with Bermuda’s premier Jennifer Smith and tourism minister David Allen.
“We usually host two small fam trips to the island each year for eight-10 agents but we wanted to give an additional push to Bermuda this year,” said Dixon. “We notice an increase in bookings after agents visit Bermuda. It is easier for them to promote the island’s benefits when they have experienced the destination first hand.”
