Pull up to the bumper, BA
Fancy a sales job at British Airways? You will get a company car but you might find it a bit difficult to park at the airline’s Waterside headquarters. The hierarchy were so concerned about the lack of parking spaces at the building, a new rule stated that people joining the company – including sales reps – wouldn’t get a car-parking pass.
They were advised to park at Hatton Cross and get a bus in – very handy when you just want to pop in to answer a fewe-mails.
We’ve been reliably informed that this scheme was quickly dropped and so it’s now a case of first come, first served.
Is this some kind of canny policy to get people to work early?
