Holidays by Phone backs Advantage
HOLIDAYS by Phone has joined Advantage Travel Centres and vowed to drive customers to the consortium’s members.It will list Advantage agents on its Web site, DanceXport.com, and any future sites as part of its strategy to offer a combination of booking channels.
Managing director Steve Endacott said:”Some people prefer to book on the Internet, others over the phone but face-to-face contact with an agent is still very important.
“The plan is for Advantage agents to work with us and develop that click, walk, talk strategy.”
Other potential benefits to customers are being discussed.
Endacott said it looked at all consortia but claimed Advantage was the most forward thinking.
