CARLSONWagonlit Travel claims changing to a fee-based structure has been a good move as clients now understand the “true cost of travel”.UK vice-president Jim Tweedie said British Airways’ decision to drop commission marked a point of no return in the travel world, particularly in the business arena. But he added that the fee structure is a different matter for high-street travel agents.
