They say it’s all in a name
MARKETEERS always talk about companies needing a snappy brand name to stick in people’s minds.But the industry has either failed to employ these people or hasn’t taken their advice.
The Association of Retail Travel Agents’ Consortium and the National Association of Independent Travel Agents never rolled off the tongue and are rightly referred to by their intials. We also have TIPTO – a name that’s easy to remember as long as you don’t spell it out. But our favourite brand belongs to TTCTraining. The body’s programme for the trade is the TTCTraining’s Travel Training Programme.
