Tourism Malaysia adds cash categories to Travel Awards
TOURISM Malaysia has marked the launch of its fourth annual Travel Awards scheme with the introduction of additional cash prize-winning categories aimed at agents.The scheme rewards tour operators and agents for their commitment to raising the profile and selling Malaysia.
The two new awards, based on holidays sold and in-store activity, will acknowledge the top independent travel agency and the top multiple agency.
Other categories include best incentive programme to Malaysia and regional travel writer of the year.
The awards, which are organised by Tourism Malaysia in association with Malaysia Airlines and Travel Weekly, will be presented at a gala dinner on Monday November 13, atLondon’s Royal Lancaster Hotel.
