n conference facilities upgraded at county hotel



Corus and Regal Hotels has upgraded the conference facilities at its 76-bedroom County Hotel in Copdock, Ipswich. The facilities include a 500-seat Hadleigh Suite meeting room.



n survey shows service is the key to success



One in five meetings and conference organisers think hotels should be penalised for poor service. In a survey by business meetings company Banks Sadler, 19% said hotel and other conference venues should agree performance-relatedmeetings rates. Some 93% of respondents to the survey voted high standards of service as the key to a successful event.



n ACTE holds first travel forum in frankfurt



The Association of Corporate Travel Executives will hold its first travel management forum in Frankfurt tomorrow.
