Ward gets Fairmont’s director of sales role

FAIRMONT Hotels and Resorts has appointed Greg Ward as director of sales for the UK, France and Benelux.

Ward is based in the London sales office and will represent the firm in the group, incentive and leisure sectors. He will also deal with the leisure, meetings and incentive markets in France, Belgium and Holland.

He joins Fairmont from Rafael Hotels, where he was director of sales, UK, Ireland and Scandinavia. He has also worked for Corinthia Hotels International and Westin Hotels and Resorts.

Fairmont Hotels was formed after the merger of US-based Fairmont and Canada-based Canadian Pacific Hotels. It has 36 hotels in the US, Canada, Bermuda, Barbados and Mexico.
