Saga provides wide range of break options
I AM writing in response to the letter by Martin Smith, managing director of, Millennium Direct (Travel Weekly August 21).
I agree with Mr Smith’s view that the over-50s market has been largely ignored by mainstream consumer marketeers except, of course, for Saga. However, his comments regarding Saga are wide of the mark and do not reflect the unprecedented success that we enjoy in providing a wide range of holidays to an increasingly diverse and discerning market.
Saga Holidays provides an extensive selection of multi- and single destination holidays, cruises and safaris in Europe and the rest of the world, with itineraries that are exciting and innovative, adventurous and active. Beyond Europe, Malaysia, Thailand, South Africa and Canada are firm favourites and our latest destinations, which include Venezuela, Malacca, Grenada and Sarawak, are creating a lot of interest and excitement.
Finally, Saga will continue to develop and provide a comprehensive choice of holidays and cruises to meet the aspirations of a rapidly growing, increasingly affluent and demanding target market.
