ANA to drop Kansai service

ALL NIPPON Airways will axe its five weekly flights from Heathrow to Kansai in Japan from the end of next month.

The airline said the move is in line with its review of long-haul services and it would look to reinstate the route for next summer.

An ANA spokesman said: “We have already handed the slots back to BAA and if we want to reinstate the flights, we have to reapply.”
