Grand Heritage Hotels launches biggest ever range of short-break options

GRAND Heritage Hotels International has launched its biggest short-breaks brochure and has signed up four new members to the consortium.

The new brochure, called Days to Remember, features 40 four-star hotels. Ten of these were formerly members of the Virgin Hotel Collection consortium, which disbanded in February.

Grand Heritage operations director Daniel Simmons said: “When Virgin axed its Hotel Collection, it also dropped its A4 brochure and the format fitted our agenda perfectly, with more room for details of the hotels included.”

Prices lead in at £90 per night for a double room at Oatlands Park in Weybridge, Surrey. Agents will be able to earn 8% commission and book through their global distribution systems from next month.

The 16 room Hotel Maes-y-Neuadd in Talsarnau, North Wales; the 40-room Holdsworth House Hotel in Halifax, Yorkshire; the 28-room Arundell Arms in Lifton, Devon and the 30-room Gresham Court in Bournemouth joined the consortium this week.
