What is a kibbutz?
It is a commune. Kibbutz residents are calledkibbutzniks. They live and work together, pooling the profits made from their enterprises – usuallyagriculture.
What is a kibbutz hotel? Many kibbutzim havediversified from their core businesses to openthree-four-star hotels. Anumber of kibbutzim with sites around the Sea of Galilee run holidayvillages. There are also Jewish religious kibbutzim.
