Top Swiss chef helps Crossair to develop range of new menus

CROSSAIR has enlisted the help of Swiss chef Anton Mosimann to develop a selection of menus.

From next month, all passengers, regardless of whether they are in business or economy class, travelling on Crossair flights to Switzerland will be able to sample food created by Mosimann. The new dishes, such as smoked salmon tartlets and beef tornadoes in green peppercorn sauce, come under Crossair’s Eight Worlds series, which features menus from chefs in different European countries.

A Crossair spokeswoman said the Swiss market was well known for appreciating good food and had started to expect it on Crossair flights.

“About 70% of Crossair’s passengers travel on business class and they come to expect a high standard of service and cuisine,” she said.

Crossair operates 29 flights a day from airports across the UK, including London City Airport, Heathrow, Manchester, Edinburgh, Jersey and Guernsey.

Main Crossair destinations include Geneva, Basle and Zurich.
